Connection check
WebRTC connection test
Use this browser test to check whether WebRTC data channels can connect locally before you try a live random voice chat.
Browser tool
WebRTC connection check
No test has run yet.
What this tests
The tool creates two local peer connections inside this browser tab and opens a WebRTC data channel between them. It does not contact another person or start your microphone.
What it does not prove
A local test cannot guarantee every real call will connect. Actual voice chat still depends on both users' browsers, networks, firewalls, and whether peer-to-peer or TURN relay paths are available.
If the test fails
Try another browser, disable strict network filtering, or test from a different connection. Corporate networks, VPNs, and privacy extensions can sometimes interfere with WebRTC.
FAQ
Does the WebRTC test start a real call?
No. It creates two local peer connections inside one browser tab and does not connect you to another person.
Does this test use my microphone?
No. The WebRTC connection test uses a data channel, not microphone audio.
Can the test pass while a real call still fails?
Yes. Real calls also depend on the other user, both networks, firewall behavior, and TURN relay availability.
